Nice story.

Catching up fast!

Glad that helped. I think part of the problem may be that cloudflare is too tight with partners so that if you do anything yourself it breaks things.

Thanks Vanessa. I too had forgotten about the dockers and how difficult they had been around that time. British Rail too. Apparently Crossrail has brought back a lot of barge traffic too

You’re right about rationing. I should do a show about that. Thanks for the tip.

Good to see you back at it.

Maybe disable CloudFlare. It isn't clear at this stage why you need it, and you can always enable it later.

IndieWeb on WordPress is a strange and arcane game, the rules of which I barely understand. The IndieWeb plugin is kind of like an orchestra conductor, helping you to install the many other plugins that are needed to be fully effective. There's a whole channel of IRC devoted to #indieweb-wordpress with some very knowledgeable people. (Also on Slack, if you prefer)

Definite progress. FWIW I have just been messing about with one of my WP sites trying to streamline a plugin mess. I had a couple of mega-monsters that were definitely trying to be all things to all users. I replaced one with one that does one thing well, and part of another likewise. Now I need to think about the meta-data for sharing, but that can wait for another day.

That's pleasing.

For what it is worth, I have found Dreamhost and cloudflare’s relationship to be complex. And though it takes a little time, DH tech support has been super helpful. Their online chat is good as long as you have something else not too taxing to do in the meantime.
