@hazardwarning Nice story.
@hazardwarning Glad that helped. I think part of the problem may be that cloudflare is too tight with partners so that if you do anything yourself it breaks things.
@hazardwarning Thanks Vanessa. I too had forgotten about the dockers and how difficult they had been around that time. British Rail too. Apparently Crossrail has brought back a lot of barge traffic too
You’re right about rationing. I should do a show about that. Thanks for the tip.
@hazardwarning Maybe disable CloudFlare. It isn't clear at this stage why you need it, and you can always enable it later.

@hazardwarning IndieWeb on WordPress is a strange and arcane game, the rules of which I barely understand. The IndieWeb plugin is kind of like an orchestra conductor, helping you to install the many other plugins that are needed to be fully effective. There's a whole channel of IRC devoted to #indieweb-wordpress with some very knowledgeable people. (Also on Slack, if you prefer)

@hazardwarning Definite progress. FWIW I have just been messing about with one of my WP sites trying to streamline a plugin mess. I had a couple of mega-monsters that were definitely trying to be all things to all users. I replaced one with one that does one thing well, and part of another likewise. Now I need to think about the meta-data for sharing, but that can wait for another day.

@hazardwarning For what it is worth, I have found Dreamhost and cloudflare’s relationship to be complex. And though it takes a little time, DH tech support has been super helpful. Their online chat is good as long as you have something else not too taxing to do in the meantime.
