Udine is beautiful. I have visited Gorizia a couple of times.

@kdfrawg Somerset, in England. Tiny place called Wedmore. Still miss it.

I've stayed with Classic, because I really don't need anything offered in the paid version. But yes, I should think about export from there too. Something else to be more indie about.

Where do you have your sights set? Somewhere a little less dysfunctional, like Milan or Turin? My preference might be Bologna.

Dream on. The secret is to find a place where politics is mostly ineffectual. A good civil service helps.

Yes. In Rome. Been here 16 years.

That's all true. And you forgot flexible bureaucracy and broken politics. But then there's Street life, and food, and culture, and the weather is actually rather good 48 weeks of the year.

It drives me nuts, but I love it too.

Come on down.

I do. It is moribund, 60 km from home.

Well, that was a blast. There a big strike of public transport here today, and TMS had to be across town for an important appointment, so I fired up Car2Go and drove us there and back in a Smart car. The Car2Go technology is pretty amazing and very usable. The Smart car takes a little more getting used to, but also works just fine.
