Decided I had been dawdling too much on my morning constitutional, so dug out the old Nordic walking sticks. Hammered round, which is nice, but of course registered fewer steps because each step is larger.

Probably, but not quickly. They are actually rather good at reconstruction, but it does take time, and often at the end of it the people whose home a town had been for many, many years do not come back.
