I call that a result.

I didn't know Opinion was shutting down its hosting. The app, they say, will continue. They also say that they had more than 100,000 users. That's not a few.

Some of the hosting services already offer this in a kind of sort of way, and spotify seems to be trying to become a youtube of podcasts. I wonder, if all podcasters uploaded tagged episodes to YouTube, would its algorithms automatically recommend others? Of course that detracts from download stats etc, but maybe the people who really want to grow their audience wouldn't mind.

A paid hosting service would find it difficult, I suspect, to gain traction, although you could probably build something neat on top of AWS.

I agree. To me it has to be something subsidised by another product to give that product a competitive edge in a crowded market, which probably means it wouldn’t fly.

It has been a long day. Not without it’s good points. That is all.

And I’ll take this as a no.

????????
Too much music?

Busy day here, editing and what not, hence the radio silence. All done though, till tomorrow.

Didn’t El Cap?
