To be honest, I cannot remember whether I dumped the printer on the street or in our storage. Do you really think it is worth persevering? As I recall, they even charge for calls to support and then keep you on hold.

Please forgive a VERY newbie question about Git.
Say you reach a state when you know everything is just great. You want to move forward from there, and you're confident you will never want to return to a previous commit or anything like that.
Is there a way to clear out all the crud that has accumulated in the repository?
Or do you just reclone? (No Otto, not recline.)

@matigo Trouble is, if there is an investment in infrastructure, returns on the dollar will go up and people will put aside their worries in search of those returns keeping the dollar high.
Or maybe not.
