Or two … we had a good lentil and grain soup leftover and I made roasted Romanesco broccoli, plus fresh bread and labneh and the aforementioned local light red. Then an episode of Bodyguard.

It wasn’t a bunch of fun, no. Just a quirk I’m sure for everything to pile up like that. Normally one small fire a week is about my speed.

What a day. Racing back and forth putting out metaphorical fires all over the place.

It's an ill wind. I dropped my old digital scale, which sprang apart. So I had to get a new one. And the new on wasn't too expensive and is much easier to use. In the end, I'm glad I dropped the old one, which had been incredibly frustrating but, because it still worked, could not be got rid of.
