When did OS updates start taking longer than a pretty leisurely lunch?
@matigo Yeah. Thanks. To be honest, I thought I was in much more trouble than I am. And I’ve found some of the image upload folders. So, progress. And, as the douchebags are wont to say, a learning opportunity.

@matigo No, but the help is no longer needed.
A bit of a nightmare, but mostly solved now by manually changing the prefix on all the WP tables. I had done some very silly things during the various moves to and from my servers, as a result of which Fornacalia.com vanished into thin air. I still had a backup (which I could not seem to use) and I still had the original SQL database. But when I did a one-click install of WP, it naturally created a new set of tables with a different prefix.
In the end it is all good, except that I don't think I have a copy of all the uploaded media files. That will be harder to restore, but doable, I think.
First I need to search all possible locations for a backup of the uploads folder.

Never mind; I think I have a different solution. Thanks anyway.
@matigo @rabryst @anyone: I'm trying to restore a WordPress database backup. The file is here https://www.dropbox.com/s/ertp5r0ed9aohoj/fornoblogwp20170915_365.sql.gz?dl=0
When I try to gunzip in terminal, it says that the file is not zipped.
When I try to import directly in PHPMyAdmin it says #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '?t??Y' at line 1
I've opened the file in BBEdit and it certainly looks compressed to me, but Stuffit Expander doesn't seem to understand it either.
What now?
@jextxadore When it is good it is heavenly, when it is bad it is hellish.
// @matigo
@sumudu You can use it from a browser, but it is not as good as on iOS.

@lukasros There are things I really like, others that will take more time. I'm thinking of doing a monthly round-up in a couple of days, even though it has not been a full month yet.
I'm also still toying with the idea of the free Rescuetime.
