OK. Maybe see you there later.

I'm VERY keen on Pinboard. Who are you there?

I can't be the only one (can I???) who finds the left and right arrows to other posts on 10C websites (like @larry's) confusing. For me -- a right-handed white dude, I agree -- the arrow pointing right suggests going forward in time to a more recent post than the one I am reading. And vice versa.

Currently, it works the other way round.

What do you think?

New extrapolation suggests 16 hours, which is way more acceptable.

90% my stupidity 10% sparsity of instructions from Apple.

In other news, turns out it is really, really complicated to copy the backups from an external hard drive to a Time Capsule. You can do external to external, and TC to TC, but external to TC requires a third party thing and lots of smarts.

It took me about three hours of useless searching to discover that.

So I'm just creating an entirely new backup, from scratch. Current extrapolation suggests that might take 83 hours, give or take.

Yup. Not as easy as I expected to set up. Probably my stupidity.

It's only money, after all.

only if every person becomes a ghost.

The hardest part.

You could, I suppose. But that's not what I want.
