@gtwilson I probably will leave it. I've given up trying to get my Time CApsule to connect through the ISP's modem to the internet, so there's a bloke coming to look at that for me on Thursday, and I may let him have a little poke under the hood.

@matigo: is there a setting to change the frequency with which 10C phones home? I'm sure there was once, but I'm blowed if I can find it now.
@matigo I probably will. But right now I am tearing my hair out over general slowdowns and instability of GTalk and Fantastical, both of which seem to be related to certificate issues that I cannot begin to understand.
Maybe upgrading to Sierra will cure all my problems, and bring world peace too.
