So it isn't just s/lead/head/ ?

@skematica My answer was specifically tailored to what I remember of what I think you do believe.

BTW, is this "the young people at its lead in general" a typo or a usange with which I am not familiar?

@skematica You don't have to believe it until it starts to happen.

Separate story, and not uninteresting.

@kdfrawg This is the piece [motherjones.com]. And apparently as a result there has been a federal decision to end the private operation of prisons. Which is quite an achievement.

Alas, this is an exception, and journalism is not entirely alive and well. From over here, the coverage of your election, and much else besides, makes that very clear. But there do remain glimmers of life.

sounds like lunch is repeating.

Ah. I don't have too much experience with life assurance. A couple of my previous jobs have had it built in, if I perish on the job, as it were, which I'll take as a perk. And I had life assurance when I had a mortgage, because the lender insisted. But because I have no dependents, and my partner is perfectly capable of taking care of herself, I do not have any kind of life cover now. She gets my assets anyway, no need for more.

Is it, really? I suppose it depends on what exactly you are trying to insure.

I certainly will. Maybe even record the unboxing and set up. I plan to use the occasion to attempt to create a better set-up for recording, as far as cabling and mixer settings go. That may not work, but I want to try.
