@kdfrawg Wow. That's some productivity. I feel tired just reading about it.
@kdfrawg Nice to take a complete break. Finished writing, or finished final edit?
Back in Rome and waiting for the train home. It has been a hectic couple of days away, but solid good work. Looking forward to doing nothing much for the rest of the weekend and then plunging into a new project on Monday.
@literary That's not the point at all. They shouldn't assume that you are completely free.
@literary It really is such a shame that people who are hiring cannot have a little more respect for the people they are interviewing. It's as if they really think you have nothing else to do.
@matigo Great. Thanks for the reassurance. I'm about to board my flight, and will wait to try this until I have hotel wifi later this evening. At least I know that I won't lose anything, and if I cannot publish while I am away for a couple of days, well, it doesn't much matter.
Hmmm. Need help.
I seem to have screwed up the local clone on my laptop of the repo that does my website. Not exactly sure why, but after syncing I get messages about conflicted copies.
When this happens on the production version, I have voodoo commands that work to restore sync. They are:
git fetch --all
git reset --hard origin/master
If I do this from Terminal on the laptop, will it achieve what I want, which is to download everything from Github to my laptop?
Thanks
@kdfrawg
// @matigo @literary everything The Frog says here, in this thread, is trueish.
Happy now?
