@matigo Dunno whether you say this crass headline -- Fighting rages in Aleppo despite global anger at image of injured child [theguardian.com] -- in The Guardian, no less, but it provoked me to a snarky reaction over on Twitter.
It's that "despite" that gets me, as if there's some causal link.
