@matigo Sort of. I believe that it used to be famous for old style fish pickling, narezushi, and that there is a shrine there with an altar that includes a statue of a loach, one of the fish in lake Biwa. Just an idle thought, but a photo of that would make an ideal banner image for an upcoming ETP, but I haven't been able to find one on my own. Could you have a look around?
