I think black and tan was Guinness and bitter or mild. Mild and bitter was something else.

@skematica Nah. Newkie Brahn, as we always called it, was always working class, rather than chav, which is entirely different, at least as I perceive it. We middle-class grammar school boys drank it to show solidarity with the workers. I even went so far as to drink mild & bitter for a stretch, poseur that I was.
