@larand It really is rather good. Annotations work fine. Have not yet tested search.

Call off the dogs. Amazon will convert PDFs very well. Email one to your personal kindle email address with the subject CONVERT and it just does it. Very impressive.

Having photos on the SSD makes using Aperture a pleasure rather than a pain.

@peemee I think something went awry. I checked the startup disk and it had gone back. Once I sorted that out and restarted everything worked just fine. The internal disk is now empty and tomorrow I will start a CCC copy to a small partition.
