That move to an SSD went far more smoothly than I have any right to expect. Cloned overnight with CCC, change name of startup disc, change name of SSD to old startup disk name, change startup disk and here we are, travelling at the speed of electrons.
Now, what to do with the old internal spinning disks?
@phoneboy You’re absolutely right that most people don’t care about the problem. And I don’t care about most people. But for the few who do care, but don’t want to be bothered with their own server and SSL, the option to pay for a personal Known might be attractive.

@nitinkhanna We keep going backwards and forwards on the idea of offering paid Known sites, which integrates well with micro.blog and general IndieWeb. I don’t have the technical chops, and the capable techies aren’t that entrepreneurial. I’d be interested in discussing further.

@c Having the discussion here, because why not. Do you use Markdown with Known by default? I don’t, but now I cannot remember why. I know I had trouble.
