Generally yes, when it is condominium heating. We are lucky in that we have autonomous heat, but 10 days ago a bloke arrived to turn if off because the previous tenant, from at least five years ago, hadn't paid his bills. And ourlandlady hadn't changed it to us. And it still isn't back on yet. Total pain.

I can't delay any longer. I need to put my summer clothes away and get out the winter stuff. We're at that terrible time of the year when inside is colder than outside.

people do seem to be avoiding even a substantive discussion of the topic.

IMG_6530.JPGEvening last night at a local school. Charity night to raise funds for an orphanage the school supports in Senegal, complete with fashion show, food, handicrafts and great live music.

I do that too, but as a temporary measure. Then import to Aperture. I want to be able to find stuff some time in the future and know what it is.

  • I am still not ruthless enough

Still have to rate everything and share the real goodies, but that won't take long.

A lot of people haven't had it.

I wrote a little about foie gras [jeremycherfas.net], mostly things that didn't make it into the most recent podcast episode.

I hate to admit this, but I took some capsules that claimed to be immune boosting echinacea and the incipient sore throat is no longer there.

I know it could be coincidence, but it is also the kind of one-off personal experience that could turn someone into a true believer.
